This fall, Mariah Carey and Gwen Stefani will be going head-to-head on the charts-the fragrance charts, that is. As we reported last week, Gwen's launching L by Gwen Stefani and now Mariah's preparing to debut M by Mariah Carey. (What's with the one-consonant names, ladies?)

Women's Wear Daily reports that M will be a "floriental":

It has top notes of marshmallow and sea breeze accord, a heart of Living Tahitian Tiare and gardenia and a drydown of sheer amber, patchouli and Moroccan incense.

The eau de parfum will come in three sizes ($38–$58), while a .5 oz parfum bottle ($175) and a body lotion ($28) offer other ways to get Carey-ed away. To get a look at the bottle, just

Mariah Carey Gives Birth to Twins!

It's a boy and a girl for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon - on their wedding anniversary! Mariah Carey's twins were born at 12:07 p.m. EST on Saturday morning, according to a statement released by her rep. Nick and Mariah have yet to name the babies, though we can't wait to hear what the new parents pick. Nick was apparently so nervous that he initially went to the wrong part of the hospital and the two listened to her hit "We Belong Together" after the twins were born. Nick and Mariah got married on April 30 in 2007 and were planning to renew their vows on Sunday. Congrats to Nick and Mariah on their new additions and wedding anniversary!

Mariah Carey Shows Off Her Baby Bump in Naked Photo Shoot!

Mariah Carey bared her very pregnant body for the new cover of Life & Style. Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon are expecting twins, a boy and a girl, later this Spring, and it sounds like the superstar mother-to-be thinks the babies are going to take after their parents. She also recently shared a picture of her stomach painted with her signature butterfly on Twitter. Inside the magazine, she talks about her recent trip to the hospital for a delivery false alarm, what it was like to pose naked while pregnant, and her newfound appreciation for all moms. Here are some quotes:

On the shoot: "I was feeling very vulnerable about taking pictures at all right now, but then I didn't want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience. My ultimate goal was to share this incredibly personal moment with my true fans."

This week why not plan a cocktail party for you and your friends? The perfect event where ready made meets homemade, a quick, easy holiday themed get together can be thrown any night of the week. For all of the details (invite ideas, serving suggestions, decorations schemes, musical playlists, divine drinks) on how to host this party, see below.

Invites: Make simple invites by cutting out the shape of an ornament (or use this template) on metallic card stock or colored wrapping paper. Write out the super important details of your party-date, time, location, formality-on the back. Slide into an envelope and send. Too busy to send out formal invites? Decided you want to throw this party in three hours? Have no fear: write a text-invitation and send it to all of your friends.

Menu: Don't worry even if you aren't a kitchen goddess, you can still host a fabulous cocktail party by using mostly store bought items. Make one simple yet super tasty tiny bite or decadent dip and assemble the rest of your menu. Assemble a cheese platter: purchase one each of your favorite types of hard, semi soft, and soft cheese. Plate with crackers, baguette toasts, grapes, and bread sticks. Lay out slices of salami, prosciutto, and honeyed turkey on another plate. Fill bowls with mixed nuts, olives, and pretzels. For a sweet treat purchase Christmas themed cookies from your local bakery. Or fill silver bowls with red and green M&Ms, Hershey kisses, and candy canes.

For Decorations, Music and Drinks,

Decorations: Decorations are a no brainer! If you are anything like me your house will be merrily decorated for the Christmas holidays. With that said here's your decorating checklist: Plug in the Christmas tree lights. Check. Light some candles. Check. Make a fire in the fireplace. Check. Decorations? Done.

Music: Seriously girlies this party could not get any easier because everything is already done for you. Put your most played Christmas Cds (my picks: Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, the Beach Boys, and The Carpenters) on random and hit play.

Drinks: For a pro-hostess tip from the party master, don't offer an open bar. You will not enjoy your party. Instead make a big bowl of egg nog or cranberry Christmas punch. Offer beer, wine, and champagne for those who prefer something other than hard alcohol. For a nonalcoholic option serve a chilled apple cider and sparkling water flavored with orange and vanilla bean.

Mariah Carey launched Mariah Carey Eau de Parfum Spray ($42) back in 2007, and if you love gourmand fragrances that aren't too sticky sweet, this fragrance might just be for you. It's an oriental scent containing notes of amber, patchouli, and Morocco incense. Here's what reader MalibuMands had to say about it:

If you like Pink Sugar, Fantasy, Angel, Princess, or Flowerbomb, you need to try M. It's sweet, but not too sweet. The notes of marshmallow and sea breeze accord bring back childhood memories of Autumn holidays by the sea, walking along near the fairs. Despite it not being overpowering, the staying power is very good. I love the color purple, and I have a butterfly tattoo, so I think the bottle is lovely.
