How Do You Feel About a Man With a Mustache?

Matt Damon made a grave grooming mistake on the set of his new movie The Informant yesterday. I can handle a little bit of scruff on a guy, but a full-on mustache is so '80s. Even Tom Selleck did away with his famous 'stache in 2004 for a brief stint. I know it's not Matt's fault, he has to wear it for his role in the film - but I find it so gross. How do you feel about a mustache on a man? Do you think it's sexy or awful?

Oh Man: Mustaches For Kids

What's going on here, you ask? No, it's not a meeting of the Magnum P.I. fan club. It's a group of guys with Mustaches For Kids, an international group that gets men to grow mustaches and raise money for children's charities. The idea is much like a marathon, with the men asking for pledges as they grow out their 'staches for four weeks. And at the end of the hair-growing phase, the guys have a mustache competition.

Sounds like a lot of fun, and lest you think this is just a silly gimmick, check this out: The group has raised more than $150,000 for charity. If a guy you know is interested, browse the city chapters (they're all over the US and Canada) and tell him to get growing!

What Are Your Men's Grooming Dealbreakers?

As long as a guy is clean, I'm a happy dater. But some of my friends feel differently. One friend can't deal with mustaches, and just yesterday another Sugar girl mentioned that seeing a comb fall out of a guy's pocket on their first date totally killed it for her. Other friends encourage (or, you know, book) hair appointments for their men - and they go. Do you have any grooming non-negotiables for the men in your life?
