In a recent SNL appearance, Scarlett Johansson was singing the praises of porcelain fountains, complete with pouffy hair and shiny makeup. And at Moet & Chandon's Tribute to Cinema early today in Tokyo, we saw her once again wearing some pouffy hair and shiny makeup — but this time, it had a more polished perspective.
We've seen Scarlett in minimal makeup, and we've seen her heavily done up, but when it comes to her sweet and smoky palette from earlier today, do you think the look has just the right amount of oomph factor, with the balance of pinks and charcoal grays, or is it just too overwhelming?

For a while, it seemed as if Scarlett Johansson was going darker and darker (and redder and redder) with her locks. But at last night's Opening Night of LA Shorts Fest '09, she debuted this lighter-toned hairstyle with a bit more strawberry, and a little less auburn. We already know that the actress is definitely not shy when it comes to wearing bold makeup looks — or even hardly any makeup at all, for that matter.

The biggest makeup trend of the season may be the no-makeup look — at least in France. The latest edition of ELLE France features Scarlett Johansson with a minimally made-up face. Sure, it's not like she's going makeup-free, and any photo spread will have retouching done, but it's fun to see such a glamorous girl look more low-key than she does on the red carpet.
