Who Gets Your Vote for Best Nude Lips?
Last night at the 2009 People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles, the red carpet was filled with today's TV stars, gorgeous dresses and beautiful hair and makeup. Perhaps the hottest trend was the ever popular nude lip.
Personally, I love Debra Messing and Kate Hudson's matte, uber pale choice the most, but Carrie Underwood and Olivia Wilde's shiny pout sure does make their pearly whites glisten.

How fitting for the host of the evening, Queen Latifah, to wear this purple silk chiffon gown. The regal color and jeweled neckline highlight her color tone beautifully. The flowy cut is ethereal and her dainty silver sandals are dainty.

It remains a mystery whether or not Paris Hilton is dating George Clooney. And if she is, I've got to say that I'm a wee bit jealous. One thing that's not a mystery?

The evening's hostess with the mostess, Queen Latifah, looked elegant walking the red carpet at the People's Choice Awards. Her hair hue is lighter than we saw at the AMAs, but it warms up her complexion with her perfectly groomed brows colored to match.
With blush properly applied on the apples of her cheeks, pink lips, and even shadow that brings out the purple in her dress, her beauty's strictly by the book.

Seems like most of you weren't too stoked on the 90210-inspired nail polish collection, but what about these People's Choice Awards looks? Annalynne McCord, at left, and Jessica Stroup took opposite routes in their road to getting ready for the event. One's more structured, the other's laid-back.

Overall, she keeps the look simple and pretty with an elegant white halter dress and a high placed ponytail.

Debra Messing's got the look — and it's pretty intense. After all, her strong gaze looks even more so with heavily smudged lines emphasizing the outer parts of her eyes. False eyelashes highlight one dramatic stare.
