Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz brought Bronx to visit Disneyland Thursday in LA. The proud parents held hands as they strolled between rides before posing for photos with Bronx on the Dumbo ride. Melrose Place Getting a Makeover — Ashlee Simpson Is Out!
Just two months after Melrose Place's debut comes the news that the producers are looking to make over the low-rated series — which means that both Ashlee Simpson and Colin Egglesfield are out.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, executive producers Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavkin reveal that Simpson was always supposed to leave after episode 12. Quiet-but-psycho Violet and recovering alcoholic Auggie will depart with the Sydney murder mystery (which must mean that one of them is definitely the murderer, right?) in January.
Ashlee Shops Till She Drops Cash in LA
Ashlee Simpson joined friends for a shopping trip yesterday in LA, though her usual retail buddy stayed home. It was some well-earned downtime for Ashlee, after a busy few months of raising Bronx and reporting to work on the set of Melrose Place. It doesn't sound like things will be slowing down soon, since the series was just picked up for another six episodes.

The trio was back together in California after a month of travels, including a short Fall Out Boy tour and Ashlee's poolside birthday in Vegas. Pete is already off again, as he'll be moderating a panel on video games and music in NYC tonight.

Jessica Simpson wore all black on the red carpet at Operation Smile's annual gala in Beverly Hills on Friday night before jetting off to Vegas to celebrate Ashlee's 25th birthday on Saturday. Ashlee stayed playful with Pete Wentz at the MGM Grand pool, kissing for the cameras in front of her towering cake — see her look. Ashlee was only in Sin City for the day before she had to get back to Bronx in LA, but she did gush about her week on tour with Pete and one of his gifts, a pair of Chanel shoes.
