Despite the torrential rains at last night's UK Harry Potter Premiere, Emma Watson glowed like a sparkling ray of sunshine. She stood under an over-sized translucent brolly wearing a vintage Ossie Clarke gown and minimal jewels. She was smart to wear her hair up (get her hairstyle here) to avoid frizz, however, her makeup remained in tact all evening long.

We've seen it with Tracy Reese and Sally Hansen, along with Emanuel Ungaro for MAC. And now, in the latest crop of makeup-inspired-by-runway collaborations, Lancôme's Pout-à-Porter lipstick is back. But this time, it's in the form of a name-that-shade contest.

Model Alek Wek is a stunningly gorgeous gal, and at the age of 32, I swear the Sudanese native doesn't look a day over 20. How does she do it? To create her makeup look last night at the 2009 Costume Institute Gala, artist Oslyn Holder used all Lancôme products.

Calling all beauty junkies, there's a new pink eye trend on the scene! However, this time I'm talking about coloured eye shadow, not Agyness Deyn who had conjunctivits last fashion week and wore a patch to cover it up so that she could still walk the runways.
Back from the 80's, fuschia shadow has already been spotted at the Paul Costelloe show, Topshop Unique, and both Nars and Lancôme have featured grenadines in their 2009 spring colour collections.

It's been quite the red carpet transformation for Angelina Jolie. Where she once wore jet black vampire-ess hair extensions and harsh, goth makeup, last night she looked like the high profile celebrity, movie star and beauty icon that we've deemed her to be. She wore a gorgeous Elie Saab gown that she paired with beautiful emerald earrings and her hair was coloured a rich brown with touches of golden highlights.

The eleven-item range contains a bright red lipstick, black, red and pink ultra-shiny glosses, black and brick red nail varnishes, mascara, primer, foundation, highlighter and powder. Kate (the great) Winslet looked absolutely stunning last night on the red carpet in her bold, body skimming blue dress, stunning jewelry and bright blonde highlights.
What I love most about Kate's look is that she truly embraces the old movie-star beauty. Her hair (created with Fekkai products) and makeup enhanced her beauty and allowed her to radiate from the inside out.
