Eva Mendes Shines in Chris Benz Paillettes: Love It or Hate It?

Paillette alert! Eva Mendes attended the Hollywood screening of The Bad Lieutenant wearing a Chris Benz multicolored, plunging paillette dress from his Spring '10 collection and Brian Atwood pumps. The dress is definitely eye-catching - different than what we're used to seeing her in. A few sparkles would do her good, but all-over paillettes are slightly overwhelming. And this coming from a gal who loves shine. What's your opinion?

A bevy of gorgeous gals came out to celebrate Fashion Group International's 26 Annual Night of Stars. From 54-year-old Iman to 22-year-old Evan Rachel Wood, all of the ladies looked ravishing in their red carpet duds. Unsurprisingly, Dita von Teese was the most dramatic with her astral Stephen Jones headpiece, but the rest stunned with their gowns. I know which one's my favorite; which one's yours?

Gwen and James Light Up the Starry Night

Gwen Stefani led the pack yesterday at Fashion Group International's annual Night of Stars in NYC. She struck a pose in black alongside fellow designer Eva Mendes, while Dita von Teese and Evan Rachel Wood apparently managed to avoid an awkward run-in. Gucci model James Franco took a break from his other Big Apple activities to smile for the cameras next to the house's designer, Frida Giannini, and Mary J. Blige. Mary and Frida were together earlier in the day to open the new Mary J. Blige Center For Women in Yonkers, and their charitable ways continued into the evening of celebrating the year's best fashionable good deeds.

Gwen Looks Gorgeous Among The Gowns and Guys in NYC

New York was host to the Fashion International 26th Annual Night of Stars last night, where a number of celebs dressed up to walk the red carpet. Gwen Stefani looked stunning in her black dress, ditching the red lips for a night and going with nude makeup that really softened her look, Evan Rachel Wood looked great in her floor length red dress, while Eva Mendes looked a little more casual in a shorter dress with pockets - she then went on to another event in the city and FabUK wants to know if you love or hate her look. Dita von Teese looked groomed to perfection as always in her black dress, while Mark Ronson, Alex Greenwald and James Franco were among the men suiting up for the occasion. How glamorous!

Will Ferrell Has the Other Guys, Another Baby!

Will Ferrell joined Mark Wahlberg and Eva Mendes last night for an evening of filming The Other Guys on Staten Island. We've also seen Will hard at work with Mark before, looking like tough guys on the streets of Manhattan. It's hard to imagine Will being anything other than his funny self, and he'll be putting his easy-going ways to good use soon - he and wife Vivica just announced that they're expecting their third child. Congrats to the growing family!

Celebs Show Up For The Final Day Of New York Fashion Week

Celebs showed up by the handful for the Tommy Hilfiger show that closed New York Fashion Week yesterday, including January Jones, Rosario Dawson, Katherine McPhee, Penn Badgley and Emily Blunt - who's newly engaged to actor John Krasinski! Mary Louise Parker looked cute in checks, while Sarah Ferguson showed up in a bright blue dress and chatted to Emily before the show. Also present was Alicia Keys who wore sunglasses, Naomi Watts in a gorgeous white dress and woman of the moment Taylor Swift, who has come out of her moment at the MTV VMAs with a lot of support, including that of President Obama!

London Fashion Week kicked off today, so stay tuned for all the gossip from the front rows closer to home!

It's been a busy week with the start of New York Fashion Week, but you better believe I've been keeping a close eye on those stylish celebs. This week's gang is mostly fancied up - George Clooney's girl Elisabetta Canalis worked the red carpet in teal blue Roberto Cavalli, Eva Mendes balanced sexy and elegant, and Penelope Cruz experimented with a new color. But in my humble opinion, Alexis Bledel stole the show in her one-shoulder Christian Siriano. I mean, between the red lips, the two-tone frock, and the red pumps, it's perfection. See who else dazzled us.
