Hey adults who play with Barbies (it's OK, she's 51 now), behold Mad Men Barbies.

Betty and Don and Roger and Joan are all perfectly coiffed, dressed, and ready for whatever people over 10 do with Barbies. I knew I was getting too old when I started giving them bangs and switching their heads and bodies, but these are collectors' items and not for maiming.

It's not the first TV show to get a Barbie line though. I Love Lucy and, weirdly enough, The X-Files had their own, but it is the first to license rights from the studio that produces the show, which is a complicated way of saying it's a marketing ploy.

There is one first, though! Roger Sterling and Joan Holloway are the first Barbie pairing to be an adulterous couple. Yay, society!

More Than Just a Pretty Face and a Curvaceous Bod

A lot of attention has been paid to Christina Hendricks since she burst onto the scene as secretary Joan Holloway in the hit television drama, Mad Men. Mention her name and the conversation inevitably leads to her silhouette. Christina is often described as a throwback to the days of Marilyn Monroe, and it's easy to see why. Her body type is more Botticelli than waif: it's as if the term "hourglass figure" was conceived just for her. In an industry of skinny, svelte, and sometimes too-thin actresses, people find Christina's look refreshing, real, and downright sexy.

On the cover of this week's New York magazine, the Botticelli comparison gets perpetuated even further. With red hair cascading past her hips, the actress appears semi-nude in a set of pale vintage lingerie. If you were to put a scallop shell behind her, you'd have The Birth of Venus in living color. Despite that legions of fans and many in the media celebrating (though sometimes criticizing) her body, Christina was not feeling the love, and for good reason.

“It kind of hurt my feelings at first,” she admits. “Anytime someone talks about your figure constantly, you get nervous, you get really self-conscious. I was working my butt off on the show, and then all anyone was talking about was my body!”

It's a more than fair reaction from Christina, as any actress ultimately wants her body of work praised, not just her body. What she might not understand is that she has become a symbol of sorts. For the record, she is by no means a big girl. Perhaps we wouldn't have to celebrate (and scrutinize) women like Christina so much if there were more variety among Hollywood starlets.

So let's put the hourglass aside and focus on what's really important - the girl can act, and Christina's portrayal of Joan is heartbreaking, empowering, and infuriating all at once. Besides, when it comes to her body, her weight, her curves, and all the rest, you're not going to get much more from Christina - she is so over discussing it: "It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth."

When Jack Met (Adult) Sally: An Imagined Romance

Mad Men and 30 Rock crossed paths when Jon Hamm played Liz Lemon's boyfriend, the unlovable Dr. Drew Baird. Now a fan has taken it one step further and about five steps weirder by writing a short story about the love affair between 31-year-old Jack Donaghy and 36-year-old Sally Draper. It's long, so I highlighted my favorite parts and spared you the "action" details.

It's the Spring of 1990 and the recently separated Jack Donaghy and Sally Draper meet at the Met.

Sally turned out to be an English teacher at a Montessori school on the Upper West Side, but this slightly unpleasant revelation was not enough to make Jack reconsider.

Actors Are Crowned Winners at SAG Awards Show

After the stars walked the red carpet they took their seats for the show to find out who won what at the SAG Awards in LA on Saturday. George Clooney was on presenting duty after hosting the Haiti telethon on Friday night, and several members of the cast of Nine including Marion Cotillard, Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz also took to the stage. Sandra Bullock won the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Lead Role accolade and also presented Betty White with a Lifetime Achievement award, while Gabourey Sidibe congratulated her Precious costar Mo'Nique on her Supporting Actress win. The three other film awards went to Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Lead Role Jeff Bridges, Supporting Actor Christoph Waltz and Cast of a Motion Picture Inglourious Basterds.

Stars of the small screen were also honoured at the ceremony, with Michael C. Hall and Julianna Margulies winning the acting gongs in the Outstanding Performance in a Drama Series categories. Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey both won the the Comedy Series acting categories for their performances in 30 Rock, while the Drama Ensemble award went to the Mad Men cast and the Comedy Ensemble gong was picked up by the Glee gang and kissed by Lea Michele. Kevin Bacon and Drew Barrymore were awarded for their acting in the Television Movie or Miniseries categories, while 24 and Star Trek got gongs for their stunts. The SAGs Are Full of Glee, Basterds, Betty White and More!

The SAG Awards took over LA's Shine Auditorium Saturday night to honor the year's best acting. Once the posing on the red carpet was finished, the show started right off with the announcement of Alec Baldwin's win in the category of Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series. His costar Tina Fey also took home an Actor statue for her role in 30 Rock, bounding onto the stage with energy despite having had just two hours sleep the evening before. Matt Damon and his wife Luciana watched things for their table, not far from where George Clooney was relaxing after his star-studded Haiti telethon. Further honors went to Dexter's Michael C. Hall, who kept things light by thanking his wife and costar Jennifer Carpenter for choosing to wear her hot white dress. Julianna Margulies was singled out by her peers for her performance on The Good Wife, looking stunning in her Narciso Rodriguez gown. Betty White was the evening's special honoree, as she was presented a Lifetime Achievement award by one of her many admirers, Sandra Bullock.

Glee, meanwhile, was crowned Best Ensemble Performance in a Comedy Series with Jane Lynch speaking on behalf of the cast - Cory Monteith later joked that she had the honor of talking after winning an arm-wrestling contest. The stars of Mad Men similarly took home Actor statues after being declared the Best Ensemble in a Drama Series. The honorees for miniseries and films were exactly the same as at last weekend's Golden Globes - Drew Barrymore and an emotional Kevin Bacon won. Jeff Bridges picked up an honor for Crazy Heart, as did Christoph Waltz for Inglourious Basterds and Mo'Nique for Precious. Sandra Bullock won again for The Blind Side, thanking her husband Jesse James by saying, "I want you so much!" While Inglourious Basterds broke the trend by getting the Ensemble honors, it will be interesting to see if the consistency in individual awards translates into Oscar nominations when they're announced on February 2.

January Jones Can't Contain Her Jersey Shore Love in the Globes Press Room

Mad Men won Best TV Drama at tonight's Golden Globe awards! Some of the cast headed back to the press room where questions quickly went to John Hamm's beard. He assured the crew that it's due to pure laziness after having to shave twice a day when he's filming the show. He's still handsome, however, but the real laughs were when January Jones interrupted Matthew Weiner while he was talking about the honor of getting another statue:

Matthew: "For me, it's hard to believe since we've been through it three times, but we are all very excited to be included in this. TV is really, really good right now and we're very thankful to be included in this. There are shows that weren't even nominated that are amazing."
January: "Jersey Shore!"
Matthew: "Jersey Shore? In our category, January. So I'm thrilled. I'm very, very grateful."
