The red carpet was filled with all sorts of gorgeous hair and makeup looks tonight, but one of the most prominent trends I noticed was pink lipstick. From Kylie's warm rose shade to Leona's bubblegum shade and Pixie's bold pout, pink reigned supreme at this years Brits. Which colour on which singer is your favourite? Vote below to let me know!

On Saturday evening, the hottest actresses from film and television gathered in Hollywood for the 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards. The ladies looked elegant and lovely strutting down the red carpet with updo's, loose waves and perfect makeup. I noticed that practically everyone's eyes were lined in some version of black or navy, and shadow was either neutral or smoky, but what changed the most when it came to their cosmetics was lipstick. The lovely Victoria's Secret Angels gathered last night in New York City for a viewing party of their amazing fashion show. In attendance was British beauty Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, wearing a dark rose shade of lipstick. Last month we saw her at the reopening of China White in more of a crushed-rose stain colour, and at the 2009 Elle Style Awards her lips were lined in wine hue and filled in with a shimmery pale pink. Last night at the Nowhere Boy London Film Premiere, singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor posed on the red carpet wearing tomato red lipstick. Thistle is a pinky-purple hue that packs a lot of punch even though it's considered a pastel. It was always a favourite crayon colour of mine until it was retired in 2000, but just because Crayola dissed it doesn't mean that it's unpopular in the makeup world. In fact, celebrities like Chloe Sevigny, Lil Kim and Whitney Port have all painted their pouts thistle recently, proving that it can be worn all year round. Last night at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards in New York City, the most common makeup theme from the ladies on the red carpet was black, heavily lined eyes paired with pink lipstick. The eye style varied from dark and smoky on Kristin Cavallari to clean and winged on Madonna. Lips also came in a wide spectrum of shades ranging from candy floss pink on Solange Knowles to pinky-coral on Katy Perry. Last night at the Gossip Girl inspired clothing collection launch for Anna Sui in New York City, Taylor Momsen walked the red carpet with her ultra-long hair extensions and brick red lipstick. I like a bright lip on Little J, but I feel like the pink shade on the far right is a bit more flirty and age appropriate for the sweet sixteen year old. I also think the pale gloss works, but it doesn't make her eyes pop quite like the other colours. What's your favourite lip pick on Taylor?

Last night at the Los Angeles premiere of Funny People, Rashida Jones arrived wearing a badass chain necklace, her hair up and bold red lipstick. Unlike her former role on the TV show The Office where she typically didn't wear any lipstick at all, in real life, Rashida is often seen wearing bright colours. Just last week at the ESPY Awards she donned a white dress with contrasting iridescent magenta lips, and back in April, she wore a ruddy nudey-gloss to a Hollywood party.
