Temporary tattoos are indeed very of-the-moment, and that's exactly why I had to try Urban Decay's Body Jewelry ($25). Inside its cylindrical encasement — which kind of looks like something an architect might use to carry mini samples of blueprints — there are three full sheets of hand-drawn designs, full of things like charms, chains, feathers, and colorful flowers.

As for the application process, it was so easy that I literally just used a cup of water sitting at my desk and some napkins left over from lunch (unused, of course) to get them on. And as long as you don't rub them against anything with great frequency (like your mouse pad) or use oily products on them (like lotion), they should last you anywhere from two to five days solid.

The next time I apply these temporary works of art, however, I would take better care to cut them precisely for a customized fit. Because I rushed through it, the "bracelets" I created didn't exactly come together correctly at their faux clasps. I would also get more imaginative by layering pieces over each other for more visually interesting results. For as many different looks you'll be able to create with these tats, and the strangely addictive amount of fun you'll have using them, I highly recommend making the investment. Plus, they make great conversation pieces.

Ever wondered what the best way to use that Urban Decay Setting Spray ($29) is, or how to get the brand's lipstick shades to stay? Well if you have a smartphone and a Sephora shopfront, that information is quite literally at your fingertips.

All you have to do is download the QR code reader app, then aim your phone at the quick response codes (they look like colorful, jumbled barcodes) on the Urban Decay displays at Sephora. Tutorial videos explaining how to use the product in front of you will pop up and start playing — no explanation from a Sephora beauty associate required. Will you be excited to check these out, or would you still prefer to get in a chair and let a live salesperson work their magic?

By now, you've probably seen the Pocket Rocket Lip Glosses ($19 each) from Urban Decay, which feature various sexy men who strip down to their underwear when the tube is tilted. And now, the cheeky brand wants more . . . dudes, that is.

Thanks to the success of the first Pocket Rocket manhunt, Urban Decay's at it again. From now until Oct. 15, the risqué brand is holding a contest where you can nominate the favorite guy in your life to appear on a Pocket Rocket. Based on votes, two new men will be chosen for two new shades of gloss, which will launch just in time for the holidays next year.

I'm not wearing any other makeup on my face, so all the focus should go to the eyes. I started with a white eyeliner (by Bourjois) and set that with a white eye shadow (from the Eye Shadow Duo Twilight by Smashbox), and then used a cream black eyeliner (by Clinique) with a very, very thin brush (by Sephora) to line really only the base of the lashes. I then used a black waterproof eyeliner (by Urban Decay) on my top waterline (try not to blink until it's dry), and then I used a black mascara (by YSL) on my top lashes only.

I was still in a Formula 1 mood today and I was thinking about the "Red Bull gives you wings" slogan, so I did a blue-winged eyeliner look. . . I started with my brows. Normally I do nothing to them, but with a very defined eye, I thought a defined brow would look amazing. I used my Tweezerman tweezers to pluck any stray hairs and then used Cork and Models Own Angled Eyeliner Brush to add a little color to them. I then used MAC Soft Ochre as a base and some Brule to set it. With a MAC 266 Angled Liner Brush, I took some MAC Fluidline in Waveline and first made the outer corners.
